Dr. Daniel Johnson has proudly served our learning community as superintendent since 2018.  Throughout his career, Dr. Johnson served in varied capacities within school systems, including: English Supervisor; Assistant Principal; Principal at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels; and Assistant Superintendent.  During his service, Dr. Johnson has been awarded New Jersey Principal of the Year, NJPSA Visionary Leader, National Distinguished Principal, and Seton Hall Spirit Leader.  In addition to serving the Butler School District, Dr. Johnson also works as an adjunct professor at Centenary University, as well as with Rutgers University Continuing Education Department.  Dr. Johnson received his B.A. in English from Keene State University.  In addition, he received two Master's Degrees and his Doctorate from Seton Hall University.  Dr. Johnson is a life-long resident of Jefferson Township, and he is married with two sons.
