Mrs. Michelle Papa

It is a joy to serve as the principal of Richard Butler Middle School, and I am proud to work alongside our exemplary staff to provide an outstanding educational experience for our children. Prior to joining the Butler community, I served as a high school assistant principal and English teacher at the middle and high school levels. I have earned a BA in English Secondary Education from Old Dominion University, MA in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University, and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Rowan University. I am truly passionate about  the amplification of student voice, healthy school culture, trauma informed education, and equity for all students. I am proud to serve the Butler community as we create partnerships that will ensure the academic, social, and emotional success of all of our students and continue to prove why “It Takes More to Be a Bulldog!”
